Summary of research interests

Co-principal Investigator of VIKING survey, VISTA Kilo-degree Infrared Galaxy survey (observations started Nov 2009).

Co-investigator for Herschel ATLAS survey.

Co-investigator for VISTA VIDEO survey.

2000-2009: Project Scientist for VISTA , the 4-metre Visible and Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy , recently operational at Paranal Observatory, Chile.

Observational cosmology and large-scale clustering of galaxies, including the 2dF Galaxy Redshift Survey (2dFGRS) , and the IRAS PSCz survey.

Gravitational microlensing and dark matter; member of the MACHO Project Science Team, 1992-2000.
