I am a Postgraduate Research Student in Pure Mathematics in the School of Mathematical Sciences at Queen Mary University of London. My research interests are tropical geometry, polyhedral geometry, combinatorial commutative algebra and combinatorics. My supervisor is Alex Fink. ## Contact:Office: W317, Queen's Building, Mile End Campus e-mail: benjamin.smith@qmul.ac.uk ## TeachingI am a teaching assistant for MTH4107/4207 Introduction to Probability and a demonstrator for SEF026 Essential Foundation Mathematical Skills. In previous semesters I have been a demonstrator for MTH6115 Cryptography and MTH6128 Number Theory. |
