A note on cellular algebras
The term "cellular algebra" was introduced by B. Yu. Weisfeiler
and A. A. Leman in the paper "Reduction of a graph to a canonical
form and an algebra which appears in this process", in
Scientific-Technical Investigations Ser. 2, 9 (1968),
12-16 (in Russian).
Recently, J. J. Graham and G. I. Lehrer have used
the same term in a different sense in their paper "Cellular algebras",
in Invent. Math. 123 (1996), 1-34.
Readers should be aware of the possibility of confusion.
