The School has a re-designed website. There is a CSG page on that website, here. However, the present page will continue to be maintained for the time being. |
The Combinatorics Study Group meets at 4:30pm on Fridays in room M103 of the Mathematical Sciences building at Queen Mary, University of London. (Directions: Turn left on leaving Stepney Green tube station and proceed 400 metres to the building on the left.) For more information, see the directions here.
This term's programme:
Raul Mondragon's talk on 11 December will be a presentation of two problems on which he would like our help, one on optimal networks and the other on catastrophic networks. More details later.
Tentative partial programme for next term:

The School of Mathematical Sciences is undertaking a major refurbishment programme that will radically change the design to our building both externally and internally. During the reconstruction, we regret that disabled access to the building will be limited. If this could affect your intention to attend a seminar, please contact Bill White on 0207 882 5514 or email to w.white(at)qmul.ac.uk to discuss your requirements. |
Resources:
The Combinatorics Study Group has been running since 1986. The original participants were Peter Cameron, Liam Halpenny and Mark Whelan.
The slides from Aidan Roy's talk on 6 November are now available here.
The provisional date for the Open University Winter Combinatorics Meeting is 20 January 2010, and for the Oxford 1-day combinatorics meeting 17 March 2010. Further details later. It is also hoped that the London Combinatorics Meetings will take place in May.
The 2010 Postgraduate Combinatorics Conference will be held at Queen Mary, University of London, on 7-9 July 2010. The local organisers are CSG members Andy Drizen and John Faben, and the web page is available here.
The next British Combinatorial Conference will be at Exeter, 3-8 July 2011.
See the BCC Conference List.
Proceedings of some previous Study Group sessions are available here.
