I am a Reader in Pure Maths at Queen Mary University of London. I am teaching MTH6106 Group Theory (which I have taught in its previous incarnation MTH6104 Algebraic Structures II for the last eight years). I am also the chair of the Undergraduate Exam Board for maths, and head of the Algebra and Number Theory group.

Some useful things:
- Representation theory of finite (especially symmetric) groups
- Real and complex reflection groups and their Hecke algebras
- Crystal bases and canonical bases for integrable highest-weight representations of quantum algebras
- Combinatorics of partitions
