Ann Cook Prize 2005

The Directors of the School of Mathematical Sciences are pleased to announce that the 2005 Ann Cook Prize has been awarded to David J. Mulryne for his entry "Loop quantum cosmology, inflation and the origin of the universe".

The Directors felt that the standard of presentation of all entries was very high. It was only with great difficulty that a winner was selected: there was little to distinguish the top three.

Congratulations to David and to the other entrants: Richard Bayley, Jonathan Dixon, Rebecca Lodwick, and Waqas Masood.
Further details can be found on the Ann Cook Prize web page.
