12 weeks Blog on Book-launch of On Space and Time
My latest book On Space and Time aims to bring general readers right up to the latest cutting edge frontier of research on space and time. It makes clear that this is a field where our knowledge is in a state of flux and not understood by modern physics (including not by string theory), and presents revolutionary ideas for the way forward. The blogs provide my personal introductory take on many of the ideas in the book against a topical background, starting with a very much-read post on the Large Hadron Collider and why we wont be swallowed up by a giant black hole centred in Geneva and going all the way up to time-reversal and the nature of reality. A linked table of contents of the blogs, which can be read in any order, is:

The book is no ordinary popular science hash but not less than a sincere effort by world-class scientists to engage in a mutual dialogue with the public - I strongly urge you to read at least its Preface on the book web page.
