Lectures: Monday
1400-1500 Skeel Lecture Theatre, Thursday 1300-1400 Skeel Lecture
Theatre, and Friday 1300-1400 Drapers Lecture Theatre. It is hoped to record the Friday lecture, so that students who cannot attend for religious reasons can watch the lecture later. The course will start on 9/01/2012
Tutorials: there will be four tutorial classes, either
Monday 1600-1700 (Geog 226), Tuesday 1500-1600 (Drapers Lecture Theatre and Eng 324) or Thursday 1500-1600 (BR 3.02), starting January 16. Note that holding both Tuesday tutorials in Drapers has proved impractical, so from January 31 they will be split. Provisional tutorial allocations are indicated below but are still subject to revision.
Mid-term test: this will be at 1000-1100 on Thursday 23 February in Mason Lecture Theatre for surnames A-P and FB 2.40 for surnames Q-Z. There will be a revision lecture at 1500-1600 on Tuesday 21 February in Drapers Lecture Theatre. The test will cover the first two set of lecture notes (i.e. up to but not including power series).
Exam and revision lecture: The exam is at 1000-1200 on Monday 14 May. All students are advised to attend the revision lecture at 1300-1400 on Thursday 26 April in Skeel Lecture Theatre. The tutorials in the final week of term (March 26-29) will be used to go over the solutions to the 2010 exam, which can be downloaded below.
