The School of Mathematical Sciences is seeking to appoint a Research and Enterprise Manager. The postholder will provide, under the wider guidance and leadership of the School Manager, support for research and enterprise in the School and will be responsible for the development and implementation of the research and enterprise strategy in the School. The postholder will ensure there is a supportive research environment within the School.
Candidates will be required to have significant recent experience in supporting research grant administration and/or enterprise in a higher education institution or research body. In addition, candidates will have experience of academic research environment and will have excellent analytical financial management, communication and interpersonal skills. A proven ability to prioritise your workload and to work independently is essential.
To apply for this post, candidates should be educated to degree level or have equivalent professional experience with substantial experience in a similar or related role.
Remuneration & Benefits
The post is part-time (0.5FTE) and permanent. Exact working patterns will be negotiated with the successful applicant. Starting salary will be in the range £33,944 - £39,936 pro rata per annum inclusive of London allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave pro-rata, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan. Additional Information
