About the Post
The School of Mathematical Sciences is seeking to appoint a Postgraduate Programme Administrator. The postholder will provide, under the wider guidance and leadership of the Education Manager, professional support for all administration concerning postgraduate taught and research students.
The successful candidate will have significant administrative experience of working in Higher Education or similar public sector environment with some experience in admissions and exams administration and will have an interest in marketing postgraduate programmes and improving the student experience.
To apply for this post, candidates must be educated to degree level or equivalent standard with excellent administration and computer skills. Candidates should also be able to manage conflicting priorities and work both independently and as part of a team, be well organised, aware of the need for prompt and effective communication.
Remuneration & Benefits
This post is full-time and permanent. The starting salary will be in the range £30,500 - £35,824 per annum inclusive of London allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan. Additional Information
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
