PhD Projects in Stellar and Solar Physics

Research in this group focuses on the internal structure and evolution of the Sun and stars, and covers data analysis techniques, theory and simulation. PhD projects are offered in the following topics:

Simulation of convection and/or non-linear dynamos

Analysis of data from the ESA/CNES mission COROT (launched December 2006) using model filtering, inversion and autocorrelation techniques.
