Royal Statistical Society (RSS) accreditation
Our programmes G1G3 MSci in Mathematics with Statistics and GG31 BSc Mathematics and Statistics are accredited by the Royal Statistical Society. This means that final-year students are eligible for free membership of the RSS. In addition, this entitles graduates who achieve a first- or second-class degree to apply for RSS Graduate Statistician status. GG31 graduates must produce a degree transcript to show statistics content of 50% in the final year and 50% overall.
Exemptions from professional examinations
Taking certain modules or programmes entitles you to exemptions from some professional examinations in actuarial science or accountancy.
