2017 sees the eleventh year of the Colloquia in Combinatorics: each year, we present a dozen talks covering a wide range of topics of interest to all those working in Combinatorics or related fields. This years colloquia will take place at Queen Mary University of London on Wednesday 10 May and at LSE on Thursday 11 May. The local organisors are Mark Jerrum and Robert Johnson (QMUL) and Julia Bottcher and Jozef Skoken (LSE).

The School of Mathematical Sciences at QMUL is proud to be supporting a series of events celebrating International Women's Day and the contribution of women to the field of mathematics.

This year, International Women's Day falls on 8th March and during this week, we have three events taking place aimed at engaging with a variety of different audiences. The aim of the events is to celebrate successes and help address barriers to female participation in mathematics while create a space for girls and women to learn from each other, network and share their ideas.
