School/College Visits
We are happy to offer visits to the university to GCSE or A-level students. The visits take the form of half day or one day sessions to give an idea of what it's like to study mathematics at university.
The visits can include:
- a campus tour
- a talk on career opportunities for mathematics graduates and information on applying to university
- the chance to talk to current undergraduates
- maths taster lecture
The taster sessions themselves range from cryptography through to network theory and statistics. These are delivered by our academics and postgraduate students.

College Open Day and Campus Visit Day
The College Open Day takes place in April and the Campus Visit Day takes place in September. To attend you need to book online.
These give you an opportunity to meet our students and staff, see the campus and find out more about mathematics at Queen Mary.
