The School of Mathematical Sciences is one of the largest university mathematics departments in the UK and has a vibrant multicultural environment with over 50 academic and research staff, over 15 postdoctoral assistants, more than 700 undergraduate students, over 50 postgraduate students and at about 20 support staff.
