I joined QMUL in 2007 as a lecturer in Applied Mathematics. I have a D.Phil. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Oxford and held postdoctoral research positions at the Forschungszentrum Jülich and the Universität des Saarlandes.

I enjoy travelling, hillwalking and trying to beat my colleagues at squash. For some years I have been a leader at Rempstone Adventure Camp.
